This month sees Jane and Tony Field’s Golden Wedding Anniversary, so we are taking the opportunity to celebrate their anniversary and their ministry with a special service on Sunday August 6th at 10.30am at The Institute.
We would like to invite all those who have been touched by Tony and Jane’s ministry to come and join with us in this celebration of God’s faithfulness, provision, sustenance and purpose for these two very special people.
For Jane and Tony, it will have been the sense of purpose that kept them going through the dark and hard times, as well as in the good.
Recently, a study reported in the Daily Telegraph that people who had a sense of purpose had the best nights sleep.
I wonder if that’s true for you. Certainly having a sense of purpose in your life can help get you out of bed in the morning when it’s otherwise tempting to hide under the covers instead.
It was a sense of my purpose that kept me going during my 6 years bedridden in a darkened room with little light or sound due to chronic illness.
Having a lack of purpose in your life can lead to isolation, loneliness, depression and despair. If you are lacking purpose in your life, we can introduce you to Jesus who can give you that purpose and direction that can bring community instead of isolation, friendship instead of loneliness, joy where there was depression, and hope instead of despair.
If you would like us to introduce you to Him, get in touch:
Services are held weekly at 10.30am at The Institute - all are welcome!
